I found yoga in college while studying dance performance and human physiology and struggled with quieting the mind and letting go of physical and mental tension but once I began practicing regularly I found that anxiety had reduced, an improvement in sleeping patterns and a stronger physical body. Eager to share this practice with others, I completed my 200 hour teacher training at Nature Yoga in March of 2014 with Mark Lerro. Since then, I have completed further trainings in sequencing and anatomy with Rich Logan, Amber Cook and Diana Oppenheim, therapeutics with Gabriel Halpern, chair yoga with Jane Musgrave, Restorative yoga with Lisa Sandquist and Yoga Nidra with Mia Park. I strive to provide an accessible yoga practice for all levels and abilities through a creatively sequenced class. I have also been a manager of Nature Yoga since September of 2015.

Nature Yoga unfortunately closed due to COVID19 on August 2, 2020. Although deeply saddened by this loss, I am excited to announce that I am enrolled in the 800-hour Yoga Therapist training program through Soul Of Yoga located in San Diego, California.

I started a virtual wellness studio Verdant Virtual Wellness in October 2020 and am currently available for virtual group classes and private sessions,
 all sliding scale.

My goal is to make yoga more accessible and inclusive. I strive to create a welcoming, non judgmental environment encouraging students of all levels to deepen their physical and mental awareness, flexibility, and strength. I aim to give many options for asana (poses),  appeasing both the beginner and experienced yogi. Classes will also include meditation, breathwork, balance and increased range of motion all while aligning with the indigenous and philosophical roots of the practice.
